Tailored Pediatric Occupational Services for School, Play, and Families throughout the South Sound.

Sensory Processing

Sensory processing refers to how the nervous system receives and responds to sensory information, such as touch, sound, and movement. Individuals with sensory processing challenges may have difficulty regulating these inputs, affecting their daily engagement and interactions.

Adoption & Foster Care

A mixture of sensory, expressive, attachment, and post-traumatic stress issues is common among adopted children throughout their growth and development. Our strength-based adoption and foster care therapy can assist a child and family in coping, adjusting, and ultimately thriving.

Autism Spectrum Disorders

Autism is a developmental disorder typically diagnosed around age three that affects brain function, specifically in areas that control social behaviors and communication skills.

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy (OT) treatment focuses on helping individuals lead more successful and independent lives by identifying and addressing areas of dysfunction, such as motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and cognition. OTs can help children with various needs improve their skills, increase their independence, and gain a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem. A key part of helping children achieve success is working closely with their families.
